Emmerdale’s Charley Webb shares ‘little’ health update after ‘write off’ week

EMMERDALE’S Charley Webb has taken to social media to share an update after a “hellish” week.

Charley Webb, 33, of Emmerdale, has updated her health on Instagram after admitting to “feeling sorry” for herself last week. Debbie Dingle’s character said she was “feeling a little better” after having a “right off” for the rest of the week.

Charley posted a short video of herself sitting on the sofa to her 549,000 Instagram followers.

The caption read: “First day of feeling better.

“Still weak but I’m up and on the sofa. This whole week has been a right off.

“My list is so long now it’s not even funny.”

This comes after Charley admitted to her followers on Instagram last Saturday that she wasn’t feeling well.

Charley stated that she was suffering from a “hellish cold sore,” but that she was taking care of herself away from her husband Matthew Wolfenden and their three children.

Emma Atkins, her Emmerdale co-star, was looking after her while she rested.

She said: “I’ve got in @missemmaatkins’ bed so she can look after me while I feel sorry for myself.

“She’s actually like my real mother.”

She explained: “Ace is down for his nap, Matthew is at home.

“I haven’t just left him before some of you panic,” the star added.

Charley posted a photo of herself posing for a selfie, looking despondent.

The actress revealed that she was able to relax away from her four-year-husband Matthew and her three sons, Buster, 11, Bowie, 6, and Ace, three.

Earlier this month, the TV star opened up about the possibility of having more children.

The soap star admitted in an Instagram Q&A session that she wasn’t done having babies just yet.

“Are you going to have any more bubbas? Xx,” the question read.

Charley replied, saying: “People say you know when you’re done having babies.

“That is not my opinion. I’m actually feeling quite broody right now, but it’s just not the right time.”

During the same live session, the actress revealed whether or not she had returned to the Dales after her brief return last year.

After taking maternity leave in 2019, Charley returned to her role as Debbie Dingle for just over two months last year.

The actress had been mum on whether or not she ever officially left the ITV soap, but she has now clarified the situation.

Charley told her fans, ” “This is always my most frequently asked question, but I’ve never responded because I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it.

“I left two years ago to have Ace. I returned for ten weeks at the end of last year to finish a storyline.

“So, I guess officially it’s been a year. I never felt the need to announce it which is why we didn’t,” she explained.
