Emmerdale’s Jai Sharma rocked as estranged relative returns with heartbreaking news?

After actor Chris Bisson teased his character’s estranged family members could return, EMMERDALE’s Jai Sharma may be forced to deal with some devastating news in the village.

Jai Sharma, played by Chris Bisson on Emmerdale, has been going through a rough patch in recent months due to financial issues. The villager cheated his partner Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) out of £50.000 out of sheer desperation. After soap spoilers hinted that Laurel would soon uncover Jai’s deception, ITV viewers can expect fireworks. Chris, who plays Jai in the film, has since urged producers to bring back his missing Sharma family members, claiming that they would cause a “clash.”

In an interview, Chris said: “I’d love to see them come back.

“Nikhil [Sharma] was a great character and the clash of the brothers was great,” he told Inside Soap.

“I loved working with [actor] Trudie [Goodwin] as well, it would be great for her to come back because Georgia [Sharma] was such a village busybody!”

“Well, we’ve had some great storylines!” he told the magazine

Since their arrival in the Dales in 2019, the popular family has been favored by viewers for their on-screen drama on the hit soap.

During his time on Emmerdale, the 45-year-old actor, who is from Wythenshawe, has been at the center of several major plots.

Jai, the troubled businessman, was recently ordered to pay half of a £100,000 fine following the disastrous events at the adventure weekend.

Jai makes several attempts to obtain a loan in order to dig himself out of the hole he has dug himself into.

Partner Laurel has yet to learn of the heinous crime he has committed, leaving ITV viewers to wonder if this will be enough to end their relationship.

Will the Sharma family try to help Jai if they return to the soap, or will they feed him to the lions?

Jai may believe his relatives are there to cause trouble, but they may have some devastating news for the businessman.

The extended Sharma family is only mentioned in passing in the soap, but a tragedy would be the ideal reason for them to return.

Will a bereavement in Jai’s family push him over the edge?

Jai’s problems started in October of last year, when an activity organized by his company, HOP (Hawsford Outdoor Pursuits), resulted in a site accident.

Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) and Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) both fell off a bridge after the rope holding it together gave way due to unforeseen circumstances.

Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) and David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) were the ones who caused the bridge to collapse after they attempted to cross it despite the limit.

Fortunately for the co-owners, no one was killed in the disaster, but Andrea Tate died in a maze fire after witnessing Meena Jutla attempting to drown Victoria.

HOP, on the other hand, has been saddled with crippling debts as a result of the company’s alleged negligence.

Jai has had financial difficulties in the past, but his desperate nature could spell trouble for the Sharmas.
