Emmerdale’s Meena makes a surprising call after finally being caught out

Despite being charged with multiple murders in Emmerdale, Meena Jutla has continued her plotting.

The serial killer has obstructed DS Rogers’ investigation by denying any involvement in Andrea and Leanna’s deaths, admitting to manslaughter in Ben’s death only because she claimed self-defense.

During Tuesday’s episode (February 22), Meena’s house of cards came crashing down when police discovered the crucial evidence they needed — a memento box filled with keepsakes from each of her murders.

DS Rogers was finally able to find direct evidence linking her to all of the crimes she’d committed thanks to a tip from Manpreet and Meena. Worse, they also had the bodycam footage of Meena’s attempt to drown Victoria at the survival event!

When confronted with the evidence by DS Rogers, Meena vehemently refused to comment once more. DS Rogers took a hard line with Meena and her attorney, informing them that forensics was already looking at the items.

Rogers received a text from the forensics team proving her DNA was on the box and every item inside, as Meena laughed in his face because the DS “had no proof” she was in the video.

DS Rogers joked, “There’s your scientific proof, Meena.”

Even more, evidence was presented to Meena by the detective: newspaper clippings about Nadine’s murder with Leanna’s fingerprints on them. Meena was now charged with all of the murders, as well as kidnapping and other crimes because police had enough evidence.

The bad guy As DS Rogers rattled off a list of her charges, Meena was ecstatic, but she moved quickly to muddy the waters by contacting vicar Charles Anderson.

“The cops have arrested me,” Meena said, feigning desperation. “I require your assistance. I’m on the lookout for forgiveness and redemption. Please don’t forget about me.”

What is Meena up to these days?
