Emmerdale’s Paula Lane teases ‘love triangle’ for new character Ella Forster

EXCLUSIVE: Next week, Paula Lane, an actress from Coronation Street, will debut as Ella Forster in the rival ITV soap opera Emmerdale.

On the ITV soap opera, Paula Lane, who is playing new character Ella Forster, has hinted that a love triangle plot will develop.

Next week, when Mandy Dingle (played by Lisa Riley) and village vet Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) attend a veterinary event, Emmerdale viewers will get to meet Ella.

Mandy gets upset when a managing director makes crude jokes about her attire during the gala, making her blush.

But Paddy gives in to the insulting boss and won’t declare Mandy to be his girlfriend.

Mandy comforts Ella after she overhears him criticizing her personal assistant.

He keeps slapping Mandy, so Ella decides to exact her revenge by angrily pouring a drink over him.

Ella receives gratitude from Mandy, but after the prank, the rookie gets fired.

Paula revealed more about her character and hinted at a “romance storyline” before her scenes aired.

Paula revealed the ITV rookie’s age: “She is 29.” She is a single, extremely competent woman.

She isn’t flinty, but she also doesn’t hold back. You should be glad to have her as a friend.

Additionally, she made a playful remark, saying, “A relationship is already in progress there in the surgery.

Thus, I’m not sure. There is a small amount of competition and possibly some fireworks. There’s a small triangle of love.

“However, one never knows what might occur behind closed doors? We are currently constructing a brand-new set, and the surgery will be located on Main Street.

“And that’s when all this character will kind of come in, I’m going to be at the heart of the village, working out the new surgery.”

What would happen to the rest of the village if Ella finds herself in a romantic triangle on the ITV soap opera?
