Since she welcomed her identical twin daughters Myrtle Mae and Emerald Lois in October 2018, they were kept largely out of the spotlight by former Home And Away actress Bonnie Sveen.
And while the star’s privacy is paramount, she gave fans a rare glimpse of her beautiful girls this week – and it’s all for a very special reason.
The 31-year-old posted two new pictures of her girls as she paid tribute to her “co-pilot” in life, marking her partner Nathan Gooley’s birthday on Monday.
In the first black-and-white snap, while attempting to read a book while cradling his sleeping daughter, Nathan can be seen completely embracing the multi-tasking life of a new father.
Bonnie and Nathan happily keep their two-year-old girls for a family picture in the second frame – but their faces look away from the camera.
Bonnie captioned her touching message, “Thanks for making two funny munchkins with me – and sharing the copilot duties.??✈️,”
“Maybe one day you’ll have me back on your Scrabble team. In the meantime it’s an honour and a privilege, listening to your rap flows and banjo self-teachings???.”
She signed off, “Thanks for the laughs + HB for yesterday ?NC! @ncgooley ?,”
In the past, the former Home And Away actress talked about her managing partner Nathan, revealing that as she navigated the Australian entertainment industry, he was a pillar of support.
Speaking to TV WEEK in 2017, during her whirlwind career, Bonnie said she thanked him for helping her find her feet and feel safe.
She told us at the time I think there was someone who was sharing it with me who was able to not necessarily protect me, as though I needed it or that’s what he was doing but you do definitely share it,” she told us.
She opened TV WEEK again in July this year, telling us that although she was a mum to her girls, it wasn’t easy.
