Valentin Cassadine’s Run

Fans witnessed the return of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) during the week of March 10-14, bringing plenty of drama with them.

While it’s clear Charlotte is back in Port Charles and staying for now, the fate of Valentin remains uncertain. Viewers saw him behaving suspiciously, hanging around Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) hotel room during the Friday, March 14 episode, and audiences can expect him to continue playing a major role on General Hospital during the week of March 17-21.

Mystery Man Debuts

In Miami, General Hospital spoilers confirm that fans will see more of “Marco,” the new romantic interest of Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), who made his debut on the Thursday, March 13 episode. Actor Andre Anchondo has joined the cast in a contract role, and it’s clear there’s much more to Marco’s story than meets the eye.

The last time fans saw Gloria, she was in town celebrating BLQ’s marriage to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in May 2024. Now, it seems she’ll be involved in the explosive fallout from the reveal of Gio’s secret.

Carly Spencer’s Grave Danger

During the week of March 17, Valentin makes a critical mistake. A preview clip then shows Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) standing at Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) hotel room door, wearing a white robe and holding a champagne glass. However, Brennan leaps forward and knocks the glass out of her hand, likely saving Carly from drinking what is probably poisoned.

Valentin Cassadine’s Intel

Immediately after that, it’s teased that Valentin provides some valuable information. Could Valentin possibly be aware of Brennan recruiting Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)? If so, it could create some serious problems. He might share this intel with Carly, or it could be Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) who gets the details.

The only way Valentin can return to Port Charles is if he’s no longer a fugitive. Perhaps he offers help in taking down a bigger target in exchange for his freedom and redemption.

Trina Robinson’s Change of Heart

General Hospital spoilers reveal a key moment focusing on Trina. Recently celebrating her birthday, Trina also had a special date with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup).

Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) gave Trina a book as a gift, but it turned out to be the same one Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) had given her. Upset, Trina initially wanted to be alone, but soon changes her mind.

Trina then knocks on Kai’s door and tells him she doesn’t want to be alone after all.

Drew Cain Quartermaine’s Ally

Meanwhile, Drew gains a potential ally. Could it be Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), who already had a meeting with the congressman? Or might it be someone else entirely? It’s hard to imagine Ava Jerome (Maura West) trying to trick Drew in some way.

It’s also possible that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is pretending to have warmed up to Drew and Willow Tait Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) relationship. However, it would definitely add more drama if Drew and Sidwell strike some sort of deal.

Portia Robinson’s Problem

There will also be further developments regarding Drew blackmailing Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Eventually, Portia’s secrets are bound to come to light, so stay tuned for the fallout.

ITV Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney has attempted to justify her character’s sinister actions as she plots to kill Ken Barlow.

Coronation Street’s Claire Sweeney has attempted to defend her character’s devious actions as she schemes to “bump off” Ken Barlow.

Former drug addict Cassie Plummer, played by Claire Sweeney, has been stirring up trouble since arriving in Weatherfield and is once again up to no good.

Cassie has been looking after Ken Barlow (portrayed by William Roach) following his fall, and the two have recently developed a close friendship.

However, unbeknownst to Ken, Cassie is plotting to con the pensioner out of his money and has started slipping crushed tablets into his drinks.

Claire appeared on Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Weekend on Sunday, March 16, where she attempted to justify Cassie’s behavior.

After a clip from the popular ITV soap aired, Alan remarked, “Little does he [Ken] know what’s in his cup!”

Claire replied, “I know, I’m like the smiling assassin, aren’t I? I mean, Ken Barlow—a national treasure!”

“And you’re the one trying to bump him off, Claire,” Alan added, prompting the 53-year-old actress to defend the storyline.

“Well, you know, there’s no sugarcoating it when you’re spiking a national treasure’s cup of tea,” she admitted.

“But that was just a tablet at first, and then I move on to [using] antihistamines with him.”

Alan looked surprised as Claire went on: “It’s really just to keep him a bit drowsy so he depends on me. That’s all it is.”

The host chuckled and playfully slid his cup away from Sweeney, joking, “I think I’ll just move my tea out of your reach!”

As their conversation wrapped up, Alan couldn’t resist subtly pressing Claire for any hints about Ken’s fate, saying, “I’m not sure if you’ll be taking out anyone else or if you’ll manage to get rid of Ken—and I suppose you don’t know either. And if you did, you wouldn’t tell me, would you?”

But fans were left hanging as the actress admitted, “I have no idea. It’s full of surprises, isn’t it?”

Will this be the end for Ken, or will Cassie’s sinister plans backfire, leaving her to face the consequences?
