SHE left EastEnders in the iconic ‘Who Killed Lucy Beale’ storyline, which marked the show’s 30th anniversary.
But now, actress Hetti Bywater is back – and sending hearts racing as she poses for an Instagram photo in a revealing tennis outfit.
Hetti, 26, portrayed Lucy Beale from 2012 to 2014, when she was killed off and her death remained a mystery for over ten months.
In a special week of live episodes in 2015, it was finally revealed that her younger brother Bobby was her killer, making him one of the most famous soap whodunnits.
The complicated plotline saw Jake Wood’s character, Max Branning, initially convicted of the murder and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Meanwhile, Bobby’s distraught parents, Ian and Jane, tried desperately to conceal his crime by enrolling him in boarding school.
When Bobby slammed a hockey stick into Jane, seriously injuring her, and confessed to killing Lucy, everything came to a head.
Hetti has continued to keep fans updated on Instagram despite waving goodbye to soap stardom in the 4,480th episode of EastEnders.
The actress wowed fans this week when she posed in an all-white tennis ensemble that included a pleated skirt, bandeau top, and baseball cap.
Hetti told fans she was in “paradise,” holding a turtle in her hand and beaming at the camera, writing: “Tennis attire and terrapins.”
Fans flocked to the photo, leaving dozens of comments with fire and heart emojis, as well as compliments.
“Gorgeous,” one person wrote, while another added, “So pretty.”
“Lovely pic, I love you,” said a third, as another commented on her outfit, asking if she “played tennis or just liked the outfit,” to which she replied, “Just a fan of the clobber.”
The former soap star admitted to fans last year that she “hated” her character Lucy Beale and was glad she was killed off the show.
The actress was the fourth and final actress to play the role, which ended with her being murdered by her ten-year-old brother Bobby.
On several points, Hetti disagreed with the bloke, but agreed on one: “I’m glad Bobby killed Lucy too, I despised her.”
The actress has also appeared in the BBC drama Death In Paradise, Sky One’s Delicious, and the gangster film St George’s Day, in addition to EastEnders.
