Home and Away network responds after Sam Frost announces she’s unvaccinated for coronavirus

Channel Seven, the home of Home and Away, has reacted to actress Sam Frost’s recent social media post in which she stated that she is still unprotected against coronavirus.

The network verified that Jasmine Delaney continues to adhere to all on-set safety procedures, but it “highly advises” its personnel to acquire the COVID-19 vaccine.

Many of Frost’s followers chastised him lately when he shared a video advocating for “compassion” and “empathy” for individuals who refuse to get the vaccine. Following the backlash, she has subsequently canceled her Instagram account.

“Seven firmly encourages vaccination for all of our people, and all Seven productions rigorously adhere to the public health COVID-19 safe procedures,” a Channel Seven spokeswoman stated in a statement (via Daily Mail Australia).

“All Home and Away cast and crew also undertake COVID-19 testing three times a week in addition to other preventative measures. Sam Frost continues to work on Home and Away and follows the safety protocols in place.”

In the original video posted to her Instagram page, Frost didn’t divulge why she hasn’t been vaccinated and shared her feeling that she could “get in trouble” for coming out publicly as unvaccinated.

She added: “It’s a really hard time to be in society right now and you feel like you are less of a human and you feel like people judge you.

“And you’re too scared to talk about your opinion or your feelings and part of you wants to go, ‘Well it’s none of your damn business why I’m not! And there are good reasons why I’m not and I don’t want you to judge me.'”

Frost said earlier this year that she suffers from anxiety and despair but has improved her ability to recognize when she requires assistance.

“It is always up and down,” she explained. “I think a lot of people who struggle with their mental health, depression, or anxiety will understand you have your good days and bad days.”

She is the co-founder of Believe By Sam Frost, a non-profit that helps teenage girls deal with depression, anxiety, toxic relationships, and social media.
