Nicholas Cartwright, who plays police officer Cash Newman on Home and Away, is gearing up for a “huge” 2022 on the soap.
He teased the year ahead for his character in a recent interview with TV Week, saying, “He’s established up in the Bay now, he’s got relatives and a girlfriend, and everything looks fine.”

“I’ve heard of the curse of the cops!” he noted. “I’m always checking the scripts closely to see what’s coming up. I’m not too worried, what could possibly go wrong? But it’s been great getting to know Cash and I’m excited for what’s ahead.”
