On both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, many people watched Sam Frost’s quest for love.
But now the star of Home and Away has revealed why she prefers to keep her personal life private these days.
‘I have at times talked about things early,’ the 32-year-old revealed to TV Week.
‘I believe I’ve tried to keep that [her love life] a little more private while I figure things out about myself, and I’ve talked about things prematurely at times, and people will wonder what’s going on,’ she said.
‘I understand why people are interested in my dating life due to my appearances on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette… but I don’t have much to say right now.’
When Sam and her ex-boyfriend Dave Bashford enjoyed a romantic holiday just after Christmas last year, it fueled rumors that they were back together.
She had gone on a date with her boyfriend in Coogee, Sydney, and had also been bonding with his family.
After enjoying a trip around the coastal neighbourhood with her beau, the two are said to have dined at a sushi restaurant.
It is uncertain whether they are still together or not.
Even after their breakup, Sam told TV Week in September that Dave had a particular place in her heart.
‘Dave is a fantastic person, and that will never change,’ she said.
‘It wasn’t an unpleasant or messy breakup; it was just two individuals who care about each other as friends and pledged to look after one other.’
Sam had two public splits before leaving his relationship with Dave: the first in 2014 with Blake Garvey, and the second in 2016 with Sasha Mielczarek.
Unlike previous splits, Sam stated that she was unconcerned about public response this time.
‘Dave is one of my closest friends, and we always support one other, so it was simple for me. ‘We were aware that there was a great deal of speculation,’ she explained.
