Home and Away to reveal Theo Poulos’s secret in a new storyline

Theo Poulos’ past will be explored in an upcoming storyline on Home and Away.

Since his arrival in Summer Bay last year, Leah Patterson’s troubled nephew has been a divisive figure, but the soap has recently begun to explore a softer side to his character.

An unexpected new storyline for Theo has been teased in a new promo released in Australia, as viewers discover that there’s more to his behavior than meets the eye.

In next week’s Australian episodes, Theo will confide in John Palmer (Shane Withington), according to the sneak peek footage.

When John notices something is off, he asks Theo who he is afraid of.

“Theo, you have to go to the police,” John advises after hearing the truth.

“You can’t tell anyone about this,” Theo responds.

The worries about John’s next move in a later scene and asks: “Isn’t it true that you’re going to tell Justin? If I had known you were going to blab, I would never have said anything.”

In the meantime, the trailer teases: “Do you know anyone who is overconfident? Confident? What if it’s all just a ruse?”

Last year, Matt Evans, who plays Theo, spoke about this storyline in response to the mixed response to his character.

In November, he told the New Zealand website Stuff: “There are still some secrets to be revealed. There’s more to his relationship with his father, and he’s attempting to conceal some events.”

“There’s something he needs to work out, and once he does, he’ll be a completely different person,” Matt continued.

These scenes will air on Channel 7 in Australia next week, and Channel 5 in the UK in April.
