Felicity’s new romance has the backing of her loved ones, but only because they’re unaware that Rory is a River Boy.
In next week’s scenes on Channel 5, Rory’s fellow gang member Dingo informs him that Mangrove River’s newest cop has arrived.
Rory vows to give him a harsh “welcome” as an early warning not to mess with the River Boys.
Cash receives an induction from his new colleague Constable Devlin, who warns him of the town’s bad reputation and how troublesome the River Boys are.
Cash gets first-hand experience of this when he sees that the River Boys have already vandalised his car.
The culprits, Rory and Dingo, watch on smugly from across the road. As Cash and Rory’s eyes meet, both are shocked by the other’s identity.
Cash panics over the realisation that his sister is dating a River Boy, especially when Devlin mentions that the gang were most likely responsible for the murder of his predecessor in the police job.
Wasting no time, Cash tracks down Felicity and breaks the news that she should stay away from Rory because he’s in a gang.
Felicity wants to hear Rory’s side of the story, so he explains how he was welcomed in by the River Boys after a rough start in foster homes.
Felicity ultimately sides with Rory, so she warns Cash that he’d better get used to seeing more of her new boyfriend.
Back at the police station, Devlin informs Cash that Rory is the River Boys’ current leader so he’s heavily involved in all of their crimes. With Cash now determined to pin down Rory for some form of wrongdoing, is it bad news for the villain?
