Home and Away’s Tane Parata rejects Felicity Newman after they grow closer

Tane Parata from Home and Away rejects Felicity Newman in the UK next week after she realizes they could be more than friends.

Tane (Ethan Browne) had a casual fling with Felicity late last year, but after their joint kidnapping ordeal with evil Anne Sherman, their bond grows stronger.

Tane and Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) try to get back to normal after being rescued by their respective siblings Ari and Cash in next week’s episodes on Channel 5.

As they spend more time together, they are surprised at how at ease they feel around each other.

When Tane is about to leave Felicity’s caravan, she asks him to stay, but she insists it’s only because she doesn’t want to be alone.

When Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) sees Tane leaving Felicity’s van later, he isn’t pleased. He tries to persuade them that starting a relationship is not a good idea.

Tane is intrigued by Cash’s warnings and suspects there’s more to it. Tane ignores Cash’s advice and returns to see Felicity, who is clearly holding back over something.

Tane assures Felicity that he will be there for her whenever she needs him, so she goes one step further and kisses him.

This is a mistake because it isn’t what Tane wanted. Tane politely declines Felicity, but she is humiliated by his decision and flees.

Tane pursues Felicity, promising to be there for her as a friend as they try to make sense of what happened with Anne.

Tane thinks it’s best not to complicate things any further in the meantime.

The ex-lovers agree to forget about the kiss, but is it only a matter of time before their relationship returns to its romantic roots?
