Since testimony against Colby Thorne, Home and Away will see Witness X escaping from Summer Bay.
Right now on Australian television, Colby Thorne (Tim Franklin) is awaiting prosecution for Ross Nixon’s murder. With Colby, Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller), and Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor) all shocked to see the witness identified as Willow Harris (Sarah Roberts), the trial was going smoothly before Witness X took the stand.
Colby acknowledges his fate in scenes airing later this week (via TV Week and admits in court that he killed Ross, but says that no one else was involved, defending his parents.
Despite Dean wanting to confess his role in the murder, the murderer is given a 25-year jail term. Bella is ravaged.
Willow wants to chat with Bella and Dean afterwards, but they are not interested in what she has to say.
The decision to abandon Summer Bay is then taken by Willow. She tells her intentions to Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost) and Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) and then makes her departure, but it is unknown whether she is gone for good or not.
UK audiences will have to wait to see the trial and the aftermath unfold until early 2021.
