EastEnders actress Tilly Keeper brightens up as she joins BBC’s Making Me Famous cast after she leaves soap

The star, who has been playing Louise Mitchell on Albert Square for four years, has moved on to new pastures in Reggie Yates’ drama about a reality TV series.


In a photo on today’s Instagram, Tilly, 22, presented her new character Helen and stunned in the photo, revealing she had seriously ramped up the sex appeal to play a contestant on Love or Lust fictional show. The star captioned her post in a light pink dress: “@bbcthree Making Me Famous is coming to @bbciplayer June 17 & @bbcone June 25 # MakeMeFamous” Her friends were quick to praise her and Jacqueline Jossa, the former EastEnders actress, raved: “Yes, please! “Playing Tiffany Butcher in the soap, Maisie Smith wrote:” JEEEZUS


The bombshell plays reality TV show contestant Helen who gets entwined with ex-contestants Billy and Michelle (Emma Rigby). Reggie Yates signed the new drama Grantchester ‘s Tom Brittney in the lead role of Billy, a recent star on a fake reality show Love or Lust and Amanda Abbington as Billy’s girlfriend.

The series will focus on the effect wealth has on their mental health and success as they struggle with depression, substance use, and new relationships. Reggie, 36, told The Guardian: “I don’t think we’ll know how much this has had an impact not only on the people who are going through the process but on the public for perhaps another five to ten years.

“Lots of young and impressive people are watching those kinds of shows. There must be an effect. “Tilly has been playing Louise since 2016 and is the fourth actress to assume the role. Since Tilly assumed the role including her relationship with Keanu Taylor cheating, Louise has starred in several of the greatest storylines of the soap.

However, the 22-year-old star remained coy on her new role. Tilly told The Sun Online: “I’ve loved playing Louise Mitchell for the past couple of years and I’m honored to be part of such an iconic show. “Working with our amazing cast and crew has been a pleasure and I’ll miss my EastEnders family a lot.”
