Tane narrowly survived a vicious group of thugs targeting him. But these crimes haven’t been finished yet and are planning to come back and finish the work …
Tane (Ethan Browne), broke and depressed, got heavily into the wrong people in recent episodes of Home And Away by hiding stolen goods in the local garage to make a fast buck-only to find later that Ziggy (Sophie Dillman), who uncovered his secret, had enlisted Willow’s (Sarah Roberts) support to get rid of it.
Sadly, the van held illegal drugs worth $25,000 as well. Today, Leon (Will McNeill), the gang boss, is insisting that the debt be paid in full … or else.

Ethan tells TV WEEK, “Tane ‘s life is in real danger.” “He just tried to do a fast job and do it, but that’s not the case.”
Tane, who, despite his injury, was released from the hospital, is rushing to get his family to safety. On the beach, he intercepts Ziggy and they make a scheme to get the van back.
Tane knows what Leon is capable of and will not bring his brother Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) or nephew Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) in danger. They have no choice.
He also advises Ziggy to maintain a low profile because he also doesn’t want her to become a priority for the baddies.
But is this so easy?
“Tane is very protective of Ziggy and tries as hard as he can to keep her out of the situation so that she does not get hurt,” says Ethan. “He still needs, if he can, to keep Ari in the shadows.”

Nikau reluctantly decides to move back to New Zealand, but it proves more difficult to get Ari to safety. Eventually, Tane confesses the truth, and Ari vows to help, to his surprise.
The next day, as Leon and his crew appear on their doorstep, the brothers are caught off-guard. Until one of the men makes a play on Tane, Ari tries to make peace. They are outnumbered, but when the brothers fly into battle, the war is on.

But Leon and his thugs came back to settle the game, “Ethan says,” Tane did not anticipate things getting so out of control that the entire family would be in danger.

Mac (Emily Weir), Bella (Courtney Miller), and Ryder (Lukas Radovich) are watching in terror as Nikau rushes off to rescue his family.
Mac rushes to call the police, who in a matter of moments descend upon the pandemonium. Leon attempts to escape alongside his thugs, but it’s too late. Both Ari and Tane, the crims, are handcuffed and taken to the station.
Will this be the nail for the depressed Parata boys in the coffin?

Colby’s shock arrest!

When Detective Angelo charges Colby for Ross Nixon’s death, Summer Bay will be thrown into a spin this week.
But how was Angelo conscious that it was him?
Since his arrival in town, policeman Colby (Tim Franklin) has been playing cat-and-mouse with Angelo (Luke Jacobz), also having an affair with his wife, Taylor (Annabelle Stephenson), to try to get precious details.

But Taylor proved to be more than just a fling, and she declined to turn on Colby, even after Angelo found out about their illicit affair.
Colby is planning to say goodbye to his sister Bella (Courtney Miller) this week, who has agreed to travel with Nikau to New Zealand. Despite their new sparring, Colby acknowledges that the move is
For the better, and decides to meet her for a final lunch at the diner.
Unfortunately, when Angelo appears, with Taylor in tow, to arrest him for murder, he gets more than he expected.

Shocked locals watch as Colby is cuffed and taken to the station.
There, he’s stripped of his uniform, taken for mug shots, and dragged into a cell – but not before Angelo drops a snide remark about his “star witness” coming forward to finally put him behind bars.
Colby’s head is swirling…who was it who betrayed him?
