For 20 years, Ada Nicodemou played Leah Patterson in Home and Away.
And while her character has changed a lot over the past two decades, Ada says that this year she has just begun to see a similar shift in herself.
On Monday, the 43-year-old actress told TV Week that with age and because of the Covid-19 pandemic, she will become more vocal.
‘I’m not sure what it is but about this year and maybe my age, there’s something that my give-a-s**t radar went out the window,’ Ada told the newspaper.
‘We all suffered a horrible year and I only said to myself, “I’m just going to say what I want to say.” Let’s go down to the fundamentals and bring our lives back with understanding and kindness.’
Elsewhere in the interview, Ada lauded her four-year-old boyfriend, businessman Adam Rigby, as her eight-year-old son, Johnas, was such a wonderful stepfather.
She and her ex-husband, Chrys Xipolitas, share custody of Johnas.
It’s incredibly rare for a man to come into my life to love a boy as if he were his own and love me like I’ve never been loved before said Ada.
It comes after Ada was noticed enjoying some quality time on November 16 with her 50-year-old boyfriend.
‘Summer Sunday,’ Ada captioned a selfie she shared to Instagram, which showed her basking in the sun with Adam.
The couple were seen lounging back on an outdoor sofa while sipping champagne and enjoying each other’s company.
Ada flaunted her youthful complexion by going makeup-free and donned a skimpy orange bikini top which drew attention to her cleavage.
