EASTENDERS viewers think they’ve spotted a “clue” that Chantelle will be killed by the evil husband Gray in the coming weeks.
Eagle-eyed fans believe that 27-year-old actress Jessica Plummer is “preparing to leave” BBC One Eastenders soap after spotting that she has recently got new headshots and has been in the show for 12 months.
Speaking at the soap forum, the user explained, “Chantelle is probably going to die, unfortunately, that way she will leave IMO in the next few months.”
When asked why the long-suffering character is going, they continued: “So Jessica Plummer had new headshots, which is what they do while looking for a new gig: Bleu Landau who plays Denny had a few months before he died.”
While some agreed with the fan theory, another rubbished the claim when they wrote: “Yes, but actors are expected to periodically update their headshots anyway.
“Other than that, many EE actors were gotten other gigs while still working on the show.”
The original user continued: “But her contract would only be around twelve months, she arrived in March 2019, so I guess the writers had planned her direct character arch for the 12 months set.
“I ‘m guessing she’s going to be killed off. But, yeah, she could leave the standard way, the Gray thing is revealed, so she’s going to leave the show, and there’s no more story to say. And there’s a decent 20% chance she’ll stay.”
Theorizing how abusive Gray could end up killing his wife, many said that Chantelle ‘s growing relationship with her old friend Kheerat was going to be a huge factor.
One wrote, “I think she’s going to have a moment with Kheerat, and he’s going to find out and kill her.”
Skills of style.”
Another agreed: “I think Gray’s going to sleep with Whitney and Chantelle ‘s going to kiss Kheerat, and she’s going to tell Gray, but Gray’s going to take her out of his anger, and the kids are going to find out.”
A third argued that Chantelle would end up getting her happily with Kheerat after, but unlucky-in-love Whitney would become the new victim of Gray as a further extension of her own character arch.
Chantelle and Gray joined EastEnders last year, with Karen Taylor’s oldest child.
While they appear the perfect couple, the viewers quickly learned that Gray was physically abusive behind closed doors-and on more than one occasion, he left Chantelle in need of hospital attention.
The evil character has even raped his wife and broken her arm, and the viewers are desperate for the disturbing storyline to come to an end.
