The big baby problem of Bindi and Chandler!

From Russell Crowe. Newton’s Olivia-John. Wilkinson’s Lisa. McManus’ Rove. For Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s son, the prospective future godparent choices read like a who’s who list in the Australian film industry.

Bindi, 22, along with her husband Chandler, 23, are under the pressure to select which high-profile celebrity is going to be the all-important godparent to their unborn child, according to insiders.

“The couple are very serious about this decision,” reveals a source.

Yeah. Industry.

“They know that whoever they choose is going to play a big role in the life of their baby girl, so they want to make sure they choose the right person.”

Russell Crowe appears to be the odds-on favorite at first sight. Since the death of their father Steve in 2006, a long-time acquaintance of the famous family has stood up as a surrogate father figure to Bindi and her brother Robert.

In recent tell-all interviews, Russell and Bindi’s mom Terri both allegedly share a closely bonded friendship, which the couple have now publicly noted.

Terri, 56, admitted earlier this year, “I actually really love him because he loved Steve and they were such good friends.”

Previously, the Hollywood star has stated his “love” for Terri and her children.

Insiders, though, say there’s an immense possibility that Olivia Newton-John will be the potential godmother of the kid.

The rumor is that Bindi would ask Olivia Newton-John to be her baby’s godmother.

Tellingly, while staying at her Byron Bay retreat earlier this year, Bindi and Chandler shared some quality time with the seasoned singer. Perhaps they were nutting out the godparent relationship details?

“Thank you for the most magical visit, Olivia Newton-John and Gregg Cave. It was happy soul food this time. We hope to be back soon one day,” Bindi said.

Olivia, 72, has long been idolised by the wildlife warrior, and she has showered her with glowing messages in the past.

“That much love you. “Bindi gushed about the Grease star back in a 2017 birthday tribute, “Your power and beauty inspires the world.

Meanwhile, for the role of godmother, Lisa Wilkinson might also be angling. The famous television host is trusted by the tight-knit Irwin family and over the years has obtained many exclusive interviews.

Recently, The Project host publicly expressed her delight and enthusiasm about social media messages about the birth.

A closely linked friendship is also allegedly held by Russell and Bindi’s mum, Terri (center).

“Just watching this beautiful journey with love,” Lisa, 60, wrote in her reaction to her comment. And I can’t wait to get to know her. A huge deal of love for both of you.

Meanwhile, it might sound out of the blue, but to be a godparent, Rove McManus is also a hot candidate.

The friendship between Rove and the Irwin family goes back to when in the early 2000s, Steve would make regular appearances on his hit show.

Decades later, Rove, 46, also retains a constant in the life of Irwin.

“So much joy,” Rove posted on Twitter, following the news of Bindi and Chandler’s son. “Just what is needed right now by the world.”
