Since Colby, his best friend, was arrested on suspicion of murder, Dean has come close to turning himself into a police officer and revealing that he had helped Colby cover up the murder of Ross, his despised stepdad.

So far, he’s been convinced by Dean’s mates to stay quiet. If he is serving a jail term, he won’t be able to reconnect with his young son, Jai.

However, Dean becomes nostalgic about how the buddies first arrived in Summer Bay when the day of Colby’s murder trial arrives. Not wanting to see Colby take the fall on his own, is Dean going to go ahead and admit it all?

On the day of the hearing, Willow keeps a secret

Colby has been unable to uncover the identity of the mystery ‘Witness X’ who has come forward to land him in it, while snooping through the case files of police detective Angelo.

But as the audience can soon see, Witness X is someone far closer to home than Colby will ever expect… it’s his long-time mate, Willow, who tries his hardest to behave like it’s all routine the morning of the trial.

Why did Willow, however, agree to support Angelo? And what does Angelo want to do with the killer confession reported by Colby that Willow secretly acquired?

It can’t be nice, whatever happens, as soon as the disgraced policeman is taken away to prison.

The future of Angelo and Taylor is in doubt.

Angelo’s job in Summer Bay is done with Colby banged up behind bars. Will that even involve the marriage of a police detective?

When he learned that his wife Taylor was having an affair with prime suspect Colby, who was using Taylor secretly to get inside details about Angelo’s investigation into the murder of Ross, he was left reeling.

Taylor wonders if there is still a chance for her and Angelo to save their marriage, remembering how stupid she was to put everything on the line for Killer Colby.
