Lucy Pargeter of EMMERDALE has resorted to social media to ask for aid after revealing that she has been contacted by someone who does not have her phone number by “permission.”

Lucy Pargeter, who plays Lucy in Emmerdale, has taken to Twitter to ask for help, stating that she has been besieged with text messages from someone who does not “have her number by consent.” The 44-year-old ITV soap actor told her fans that the unknown person wouldn’t leave her alone, prompting an outpouring of advice for the Chas Dingle star.

The actress expressed her concerns to her 255,600 followers.

Lucy wrote: “Can anyone help?

“I’ve been having text messages from someone who doesn’t have my number by consent, and who won’t leave me alone!!!!!

“What do I do????” she added.

In the comments, the star’s followers were ready to offer their advice.

“Many actors have been stalked recently,” Steph Tayor remarked. “I would go directly to the police so they have a first lodged complaint and a number documented!”

“Then try blocking them,” she advised.

Several other Twitter users urged that the celebrity block the problematic phone number.

Ryan Beard, on the other hand, had a different perspective.

They penned: “Blocking the number is no use because they’ll just use another phone.

“Not great but I’d change your number otherwise they’ll still have it x.”

One Twitter user suggested something a little more lighthearted for the ITV soap star.

“See how they like it when the shoe’s on the other foot!” they added with a laughing face emoji.

Lucy warned her fans earlier this year to be cautious after she revealed she had received a hoax call.

“Just had a hoax call with an automated message alerting me that my NI number was about to be suspended due to illegal actions!!” Lucy commented.

“Didn’t follow the directions,” she continued. “Please be wary of these scam calls, as there appear to be so many at the present.”
The actress announced her breakup from boyfriend Rudi Coleano, with whom she shares three daughters, two years ago.

Lucy and Rudi had been engaged for more than a decade but had never married.

The actress previously stated that the couple considered eloping in 2012 but decided against it.
