This actor’s had a very eclectic career Any lifelong EastEnders fan would like to believe they know everything there is to know about the show, from old plot lines to what the cast gets up to in real life.
It will be difficult for die-hard fans to imagine British actor Max Bowden as anyone other than Ben Mitchell, son of local hardman Phil Mitchell.
Max landed his EastEnders role in 2019 and hasn’t stopped since.
But did you know that he played Justin Fitzgerald in 20 episodes of the Lancashire-based school drama Waterloo Road from 2014 to 2015?
Along with his (on-screen) younger brother Leo Fitzgerald, he makes his first appearance in Series 10 Episode 1.
After their mother, Olga Fitzgerald, has a nervous breakdown, Justin and Leo are dumped at the school under the care of their father, the new headteacher, Vaughan Fitzgerald.
Justin initially refused to start school there, but after learning that Leo will be staying, he reluctantly agrees.
Max turns out to be a versatile actor who has appeared in a number of other high-quality British dramas.
In the BBC hit series Casualty, he played the character, Kash Ryland.
His character in this film was slightly different from the one he played in Waterloo Road, as he was a bit of a bad boy involved in gun crime. Regardless, he loved his child.
Max, on the other hand, is a completely different person off-screen, and he appears to be a really nice guy.
He and his girlfriend, Danielle, have been together for a long time, and he enjoys trips to the beach as well as the occasional game of golf. Who doesn’t, right?
