General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin’s Revenge-Throws Brennan Under The Bus, Tells Anna All His Dirty Secrets?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors suggest that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is back for revenge, but not to take down Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)—unless it’s in self-defense.
Valentin previously told Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that he lost control that day in Baden-Baden due to his concerns about endangering Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). However, he’s now reconsidered and sees a potential way out of his predicament.
Anna Wanted To Bring Him In, But Valentin Refused
When Anna and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) arrived in Buenos Aires to bring Charlotte back to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), Anna told Valentin to come with them, promising she’d bring him in.
Given that it’s clear Anna still has feelings for him, she must have had a plan in mind beyond just sending him to prison for life—after all, she was outside her jurisdiction. It’s possible she considered keeping him in custody for his own safety, aware that he was being hunted due to a kill order issued by Brennan.
However, Valentin rejected her offer. Anna stayed behind to try and change his mind while Jason took Charlotte. Valentin, knowing what he had to do, left. Later, Anna joined Jason on the plane, where he was already with Charlotte, and they flew back to Port Charles.
Valentin Shows Up At Jack Brennan’s Metro Court Suite
Later, Valentin arrives at Brennan’s Metro Court suite, unaware that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is there, seemingly having spent the night.
Carly finds herself in danger, but the question is: is it from Valentin, or her new boyfriend Brennan? Jason has repeatedly warned Carly not to trust Brennan, but she isn’t convinced by his warnings. Brennan soon knocks a champagne flute out of her hand with a harsh “DON’T.” Just as tensions rise, Anna arrives with a marshal to serve an arrest warrant—who called her? It’s unlikely Brennan would have contacted Anna, as he sees Valentin as a WSB issue and out of the PCPD’s jurisdiction. Additionally, Anna has always been skeptical of Brennan, especially considering how he went from being in Pentonville to leading the newly established WSB field office in Port Charles, while Valentin had to go on the run.
Valentin Offers Information
Valentin is escorted by Anna and the marshal to the PCPD, where, as anticipated, Anna believes he’ll be safer—after all, Brennan doesn’t have jurisdiction to send an assassin there! Meanwhile, Brennan is furious, and Anna soon realizes that she’s been trusting people she shouldn’t have, with Valentin being one of them.
Valentin’s return to Port Charles isn’t about taking out Brennan; it’s about ensuring his own and Charlotte’s safety from him. He strikes a deal to secure immunity in exchange for exposing Brennan’s dirty deeds!
Valentin is well aware of Brennan’s secrets, including his role as the head of Pikeman and his attempt to take out Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at the Metro Court. Valentin has been playing a double game all along, working to take down both Pikeman and Brennan.
